SEGA's Answer to 3D Mario? - Jakstalgia

While being most well known for creating the Sonic the Hedgehog games, Sonic Team actually has a few unique titles under their belt such as Nights into Dreams on the Sega Saturn, the Phantasy Star series, or even the Puyo Puyo series.

One of their titles that has always stood out to me however is Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg which was released in 2003 on the Nintendo Gamecube. This game was directed by Yuji Naka himself and even ran on a modified Sonic Adventure 2 engine. But, while being remembered fondly by most people, how does this game hold up by today's standards? Is there a reason we haven't gotten a Billy Hatcher 2 yet? Well let's find out!
