《梅的白天和黑夜》，一部關於70多歲上海女性玉梅的紀錄片，成為今年上海國際電影節的口碑爆款。「從此，上海有了全新的女主，健康，彪悍，浪漫，粗野。」作家毛尖評價道。經歷兩次失敗的婚姻，玉梅依然篤信「愛情」，每天穿越大半個上海，尋找某個可能陪她余生的舞伴。

May is a documentary about a 70-year-old Shanghai Woman. It was highly praised at the Shanghai International Film Festival this year. "From that on, a new heroine of Shanghai appears. She is healthy, tough, romantic and rough," said Mao Jian, an author. May, the heroine of this film, still looks forward to true love, despite of two failed marriages. She goes across Shanghai everyday to look for a dancing partner who will be with her for the rest of her life.
