NYC Nurse Strike Over, CVS Fires NP , Damar Hamlin Discharged | Healthcare Headlines

The massive healthcare news of the week was definitely the New York City Nurse Strike that ended with contracts that granted safe staffing rules for nurses at Montefiore Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. We'll go over the contract they negotiated, and read some wild tweets that Mt Sinai thought were appropriate to send out. We'll also discuss the CVS Nurse Practitioner that was fired because she did not feel comfortable prescribing certain medications, Damar Hamlin being discharged to home after Cardiac Arrest on the field, and Moderna goes wild with their pricing schemes for their immunization booster And as a pallet cleanser we will talk about the nurse who got fired over toast. Also, the origins of the chainsaw are terrifying.
