Keane is in a fortune phase right now, he has nothing else to play for really (no more worlds/tournaments), so the only way to play the game seriously and have fun at the same time, it's to play fortune. And he insists on playing fortune pretty much every game, although it causes many eighth places, it also makes for games like this 6 Fortune, 7 Mage (due to the 3x mage cap) game with mage Darius carry. Also, I'm pretty sure Keane only took tear items in all of the component carousels. Enjoy!
