Fire Response 8 23 20

At 12:37 p.m. today, Milton Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a fire at a residence at 58 Purvis Ln in Milton. Crews arrived on scene and found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the property outside of the residence. Crews worked several hours moving trash out of the way to get the fire extinguished and keeping the fire from spreading to the residence. The residence did receive damage to the rear outside but fire crews were able to contain the fire. Fire cause has not yet been determined but appears to be electrical in nature. Crews from Milton, Bedford, and Westside Fire Departments all responded to the scene.
