[TRIPREPORT] Go-around! | London Stansted - Lanzarote | Ryanair 737-800

For my birthday I decided to spend a few days in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands!

Ryanair was the cheapest option to get there and EI-GDM would be our aircraft.

The flight down was as good as ever with Ryanair. I'd looked at the weather before departure and it looked quite gusty. The approach to runway 21 was very bumpy and I did wonder if we'd make it down on our first try or whether we would have a go-around. Runway 21's approach is quite difficult, as is explained in the video. This was definitely a very nice birthday surprise from Ryanair, maybe it was Michael O'Leary saying thanks for funding his race horses!
