Teardown of a failed DJI Inspire 1 Battery.

When a DJI battery stopped working after just a few cycles I had to investigate the cause. Get an in depth look at the inner workings of a DJI battery, and how this one failed.

WARNING LIPO batteries are very unstable, and can instantaneously catch fire. I have safety precautions in place should this battery catastrophically fail in my hands. Please use extreme caution if you attempt something like this yourself, which I don't recommend unless you know batteries extremely well.
