Low Cal Desert Idea - Strawberry Shortcake

Yall know the drill. It’s after dinner and you really want something sweet but you only have 100 calories left for the day!

Sure you could grab a yogurt and some berries - but this might feel more satisfying!

It’s a strawberry shortcake for one! That’s YOU!

Here’s the recipe:
1/4 cup egg whites
1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon tbsp zero cal sweetener
1 tbsp non fat Greek yogurt
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar free cool whip
2 strawberries, sliced

Preheat the oven to 350F. In a small bowl, whisk the first 3 ingredients, then add the flour and baking powder and whisk again. Pour into a greased ramekin or 12oz glass dish like I used in the video.

Place on a baking sheet and Bake for 18-20 mins. Allow to cool after removing from the oven and top with 2 tablespoons of cool whip and 2 sliced strawberries.
