Jimmy gavin was diagnosed with crohns disease in his sophomore season in college. He then stopped playing basketball. But after a tragic family event, he decided to try get a college scholarship for basketball. Jimmy walked on at a community college and then received a d2 ncaa scholarship. He played his final year of college where he averaged 18 ppg in d1 school winthrop. He even scored 38 points in a game against nc state that year. He played for the orlando magic summer league team in 2016 after being undrafted. He has been playing professional overseas in europe ever since. Last season he played in the lkl which is the top basketball league in lithuania
