Red Bull X-Alps 2021 - VLOG Paul Guschlbauer - DAY 5

My Red Bull X-Alps day 5 started with a beautiful sunrise and an amazing downglider from Leistchamm over Walensee, followed by a scenic hike to the Murgsee lakes. We could already see the weather changing really quickly and the rain front rolling in faster than predicted. So I speeded up, flew down and hiked up again. After hiking in quite alpine terrain my crew and me made it to Panixerpass. Usually from there you can take the speed route and go really fast westwards. But not today: The wind came from the wrong side and was so strong that I had to land, tried again, landed again. This happened 2 times before I finally decided to walk over 20km to Oberalppass. In the rain 🙃
