Parade of the Wooden Soldiers (Jessel) - Fiedler, Boston Pops

Leon Jessel (1871-1942) was a German composer of operettas and light classical music pieces. Today he is best known internationally as the composer of this popular, jaunty march. The pictorial qualities of his music made it a standard, popular particularly with children because of its arm-swinging melody, strutting rhythm, and the sudden collapse of all those brightly painted wooden soldiers in a heap at the end of the piece. (Album notes)

Straight from the 1971 vinyl. For entertainment purposes only--I own nothing here.
