Fran de Ochova - One Door From Salvation

[HU] A Towers of Gardellaca nevű válogatáson saját instrumentális szerzeményeim, illetve balladáim szerepelnek demó formájában.

A dalok többsége viszonylag rövid idő alatt, mindössze néhány hónap leforgása alatt íródott, azonban néhány korábbi ötletet is sikerült átdolgozni az albumhoz. A lista terjedelmének nem csak az az oka, hogy sokkal több ötletből kellett válogatni, mint korábban, hanem az is, hogy a szerző ragaszkodott hozzá, hogy huszonnyolc dal szerepeljen a válogatáson, utalva ezzel is életkorára.

A korábbi dalokkal ellentétben nincs a dalok között szigorú kapcsolat, de néhány kisebb szekciót meg lehet különböztetni: az első blokk a szűkebb értelemben a szülőföldet, tágabb értelemben pedig Kelet-Európa magyar, lengyel és szlovák tájait, legendáit és történeteit jeleníti meg; a második vidámabb, dinamikusabb művekből áll; a harmadik a személyes válságokról és küzdelmekről szól, az utolsó pedig a szerelem különböző aspektusait ábrázolja.

Noha a felvételeken csupán a ritmusgitár hallható, a Fran de Ochova zenekar jelenleg négytagú felállással (gitár, basszusgitár, dob, ének) dolgozik első lemezén, amelyhez főként az Endless Journey, a Corazón Panónico és a Short Heaven, Long Hell dalaiból válogatja a dalokat.

[EN] The selection 'Towers of Gardellaca' includes demos of my own instrumental compositions and ballads.

Most of the songs were written in a relatively short period of time, only within a few months, but some previous ideas were also rearranged for the album. The length of the list does not only come from the fact that there were many more ideas to choose from than before, but also because the author insisted that twenty-eight songs should be included in the selection, referring thus to his age.

Unlike in the case of the previous works, there is no strict connection between the songs, some smaller sections can be distinguished though: the first block depicts the homeland in a narrower sense, and the Hungarian, Polish and Slovak landscapes, legends and stories of Eastern Europe in a broader sense; the second one consists of more cheerful, dynamic works; the third one is about personal crises and struggles, and the last one represents different aspects of love.

Although only the rhythm guitar can be heard on the recordings, the band Fran de Ochova is currently working on its first album with a four-member line-up (guitar, bass, drums, vocals), mainly using ideas from earlier demo albums ‘Endless Journey’, ‘Corazón Panónico’ and ‘Short Heaven, Long Hell’.

[ES] La selección 'Towers of Gardellaca' incluye demos de mis propias composiciones y baladas instrumentales.

La mayoría de las canciones fueron escritas en un período relativamente corto, sólo en unos meses, pero también se reelaboraron algunas ideas anteriores para el álbum. La extensión de la lista no sólo es tan larga por las muchas más ideas para elegir, sino también porque el autor insistió en que se incluyeran veintiocho canciones en la selección, referido a su edad.

A diferencia de las obras anteriores, aquí no existe una conexión estricta entre las canciones, pero se pueden distinguir algunas secciones más pequeñas: el primer bloque representa la patria en un sentido más estricto, y los paisajes, leyendas e historias húngaras, polacas y eslovacas de Europa del Este en un sentido más amplio; el segundo incluye obras más alegres y dinámicas; el tercero trata sobre los crisis y las luchas personales, y el último describe diferentes aspectos del amor.

Aunque sólo se escucha la guitarra rítmica en las grabaciones, la banda Fran de Ochova actualmente está trabajando en su primer disco con una formación de cuatro miembros (guitarra, bajo, batería, voz), seleccionando sobre todo las canciones de los discos anteriores ‘Endless Journey’, ‘Corazón Panónico’ y ‘Short Heaven, Long Hell’.
