Ep8 Fairy circles in the Marienfluss to elephants in the Hoarusib River

After a stargazing night at Camp Syncro and hot showers, we head to Marble Camp on the Khumib River to celebrate Hugh’s birthday. Happy Birthday! It’s always great to celebrate life with family. We planned a route to see the famous drums but after the blue drum we decided to turn around and do the Joubert’s Pass to Marble Campsite. Really nice drive and also a bit challenging in some parts.

The next day we drove to Puros only to be disappointed by the available camp spots. We were thinking about a wild camp but did not know the area that well. Next time we'll ask for some recommendations because it sure looks nice in some parts of Puros.

So we had 2 nights at Ongongo which worked out really well because we had some cleaning and maintenance to do.

Next, Etosha National Park for 3 days.
