The BOOX Go 6 Gen 2 is not a huge redesign, but it does add a few interesting upgrades over the original Go 6. You get the same general small-reader format, but with new colourways, a more textured back, an extra gigabyte of RAM, TF card expansion, and support for BOOX’s capacitive stylus.

For me, the most interesting thing is not really the stylus. It is the flexibility of Android. If your library app, reading app, or preferred service does not work nicely on Kindle, an Android e-reader like this can be a much more useful option.

In this video I look at the Go 6 Gen 2 as a small e-reader, a possible pocket notebook, and a practical alternative to more locked-down reading devices.
