The type of monkeys are Japanese monkeys. (Japanese Macaque)
Monkeys are the closest animal to humans and are primates.
There are 180 species of monkeys in the world.
The Japanese monkeys are the most northerly distributed non-human primates in the world.
They are distributed in Japan's Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu regions and are found in evergreen and deciduous broadleaf forests.

Ape groups are matrilineal groups, with male monkeys transferring groups.
Male monkeys become independent of their birth pack at 3 to 8 years of age.
Japanese monkeys have a red face and rump and a short tail.
Japanese monkeys, like humans, act during the day and sleep at night.
In the wild, the monkeys also eat animal matter such as leaves, fruits, buds, seeds, bark and insects of various plants.

Monkeys in packs have a linear pecking order system.
Male and female monkeys, baby monkeys and young monkeys make up the monkey pack. There are also "detached monkeys". Separate monkeys do not belong to a pack.
The leader of the monkey pack is in the middle of the pack and To become the leader, they need the approval of the females.
