How the band got its name from the street Buddy Randell (Crandall) grew up on in Dumont, New Jersey; how he met the guys in the band (Bob Cecchino, Johnny Cecchino) and the famous groups they hung out with; the TV show "Where the Action Is".. Dick Clark, Loving Spoonfull, The Turtles...ect. Jimmy Walker (Drummer/Singer) talks about the song "Lies" and how it sounds like the Beatles and WHY it sounds like the Beatles. His time in the Righteous Brothers with Bobby Hatfield. This is all Information unknown up until now.. The Knickerbockers from Dumont/Bergenfield, NJ. Bill "Buddy Randell" (Crandall), Bob "Beau" Charles", Johnny "Charles" Cecchinco and Jimmy Walker. Walker replaced Bill Medley, for a time, in the Righteous Brothers. The band is named after Knickerbocker Avenue in Dumont/Bergenfield, New Jersey. Hits include "Lies", One Track Mind, High On Love, Chapel In The Fields and Love is a Bird. Buddy passed away at the age of 57. The Charles Brothers now live in California.
