The passage is discussing chapter 2 of Neville Goddard's book "Freedom for All: A Practical Application of the Bible." The chapter is titled "The Name of God," and explores the idea that consciousness is the one and only reality, and the stories of the Bible are mystical revelations written in an Eastern symbolism which reveals to the intuitive the secret of creation and the formula of escape.

The chapter also discusses how the Bible was written symbolically and why it cannot be taken literally, and the meaning of the symbolic name of the Creator, Jehovah. The name is composed of four Hebrew letters: yod, he, vau, he, which represent the absolute state or consciousness unconditioned, the sense of undefined awareness that all-inclusiveness out of which all creation or conditioned States Of Consciousness come.

The first letter, yod, represents unconditioned consciousness, which is the state of simply "being aware", and is God.
