Zocalo, Mexico City, CDMX | Walking Tour (4K)

Zócalo is the common name of the main square (Plaza de la Constitución) in the heart of Mexico City. Prior to the colonial period, it was the main ceremonial center in the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan and is still used today for ceremonies, mass protests, free concerts, a human chessboard, a regular gallery of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) altars and an ice-skating rink. There is always something going on in Zocalo in CDMX.
