2011 Stihl SH85 Leaf Blower Freebie Project

I managed to score this for free yesterday and the ad said it needed new fuel lines and a carburetor.

The primer bulb was already new and the fuel lines looked fine and were not leaking.

Once I put fresh fuel in it the primer bulb wasn’t filling up very well but it still started good and ran fairly well.

I’ve adjusted the carburetor slightly,
Replaced the spark plug and fuel filter and it’s definitely running better.

Another thing is that the more I used it the primer bulb was filling a lot better.
My guess is the diaphrams needed to be loosened up a bit with some fresh fuel.
Literally a free fix!
