Energy Perspectives with Eirik Wærness
Please join the CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program on Thursday, October 5th at 3:00pm EDT for a conversation between Eirik Wærness, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of Equinor, and Joseph Majkut, director of the CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program, for a discussion on Equinor’s latest Energy Perspectives and developments across the global energy sector.
Eirik Wærness will discuss the key takeaways from the Perspective and its two scenarios, Walls and Bridges, and how they illustrate the difference between a change in pace and a revolution in the energy transition. He will also highlight how the key to the energy transition and higher energy efficiency may lay with electrification while expanding solar & wind on a large scale.
This event is online-only.
This conversation is made possible by general funding to CSIS and the CSIS Energy Security & Climate Change Program
