Apollo meets Haribo & he thinks he's sweet 🍬 at The Highmoor Blood Hounds Meet Thorpe Hall, Rudston

Part 1/3 Thorpe Hall, Rudston, Nr Bridlington
Thorpe Hall to the east of the village of rudston was designated a Grade II* listed building in 1952 and is now recorded in the National Heritage List for England, maintained by Historic England.[20] William Bosville (d.1813) was the last of his family to own it, and he bequeathed it to his nephew Godfrey Macdonald, 3rd Baron Macdonald of Sleat (1775–1832), whose descendants own it today.

The Highmoor Bloodhounds, established in 2012, is Yorkshire’s first pack of Bloodhounds and is registered with the Masters of Draghounds and Bloodhounds Association. Our aim is to ensure that you have an enjoyable days riding in some of the best countryside Yorkshire has to offer.

We promote and pursue the sport of hunting a human quarry with a pack of bloodhounds bred and trained for this purpose

Riding to bloodhounds is a recognised equestrian/hound sport in its own right and is distinct in character from all other forms of hunting.

Novice rider or professional, young or old, the traditional sport of riding to bloodhounds is a great way to spend time with your horse. There will be the opportunity to jump natural obstacles like hedges and ditches, hunt jumps or to follow a non-jumping route if you prefer.

Beautiful, varied countryside, a warm welcome and an exciting day's hunting all ensure that a day out with the Highmoor Bloodhounds is one that you will remember and want to experience again.
