Galactic, Agate & Earthy Burst - Straight Pour and Swipe technique - Abstract Fluid Art

Hey Everyone! Thank you for being here today.

Today’s piece is inspired by: a piece of Agate that I purchased at one of my favourite shops. I just loved the colour, the detail and the lines. Clouds is a family run business so please check out their website: Clouds https://www.cloudsonline.co.uk/ I bet you’ll find something you love!

Technique used: Straight Pour and Swipe

What I learnt: even if you do a tester to see what the colours look like together, it doesn’t always work out and that is totally ok!

Colour palette: Daler Rowney/System3 Acrylic: process magenta, deep violet. Pebeo: metallic/ iridescent gold and copper. Also used a buff titanium and brown mixture from a previous creation (left-overs).

Hair/Blow Dryer: I currently use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting unless I specify otherwise.
