Using a Veritas spokeshave to flush trim walnut edge banding

In this video I demonstrate how I used a spokeshave to trim a solid walnut edge banding level with a redwood burl veneered table top. I show how I skew the blade to allow for finer cuts on one side of the blade and more aggressive cuts on the other side. I used my Festool tracksaw to accurately cut the banding and hide glue to glue it to the side of the table top. My spokeshave is from Lee Valley/ Veritas- a wonderful and very precise tool.
