Cinema feature: Pasolini, Kar-wai and Dolan

A series of short videos that show how cinema is, or can be, a fountain of inspiration for more cinema. These features are focused on the tension between scenes in movies and among filmmakers, genres, colors, actions, and constant objects in films. In other words, the repeated elements in the prime material of the cinematographical language: images.

As 'Anders als die Andern' showed the first dancing between two men in a movie, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Wong Kar-wai and Xavier Dolan show how, in the act of dancing, the age, sex or circumstance does not matter as long as there are two people willing to share a moment meanwhile the music plays.

Una serie de breves vídeos que muestran cómo el cine es, o puede ser, una fuente de inspiración para el propio cine. Estos features se centran en la tensión entre escenas, directores, colores, géneros, acciones u objetos de diversas películas. En otras palabras, los elementos que se puede reconocer en su repetición y en su presencia en la materia prima del lenguaje cinematográfico: las imágenes.

Como 'Alders als die Andern' mostró el primer baile entre dos hombres en el cine, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Wong Kar-wai y Xavier Dolan muestran cómo, en el acto de bailar, la edad, el sexo o las circunstancias se difuminan, en tanto existan dos que quieran compartir un momento mientras la música suena.
