Bolted Down - full band version

This song is not about airplanes, but about me and my father, who sadly passed away in October 2012. Since he died I often feel numb and unable to express my feelings. It feels like an airplane, once exploring the skies, but now rusty and pinned down to the ground. However I know that I'm just halfway in this life, so I'll have to go on. When I wrote it I discovered that in a way it's a bit like my father must have felt, during the past seven years of his life: an extravagant and venturous man "bolted down" to his wheelchair and bed.
