Darkwaterhermit talks about redwood propagation and hydration 🧙♂️♥️🌲🌲🌲
Redwoods are so amazing. Only two percent of redwoods propagate through seed, most regenerate through their clones (fairies). These great trees can also take in water from their upper needles as well as their roots. I'm curious if this helps solve the water hydraulics issues that has puzzled researchers on how trees can elevate water hundreds of feet from their base. I know there is lots of background baby noise, but I love it, and it's all part of being an interpreter to young and old and everyone in-between.
