Busy Morning On Barstow's West Side
This clip features some morning BNSF and Union Pacific action on the west side of Barstow, CA. Most of the trains are caught near West 'R' Yard along the Cajon Subdivision, but the last two trains are seen on the Mojave Subdivision.
TRAIN 1: Just before dawn, a BNSF manifest arrives at Barstow Yard.
TRAINS 2 and 3: An eastbound UP manifest meets a MASSIVE westbound BNSF Stack, which was running 2x3x2.
TRAIN 4: An eastbound Q train arrives at Barstow.
TRAIN 5: Another eastbound Q train.
TRAIN 6: BNSF's Kaiser Hauler blasts west out of town.
TRAIN 7: Eastbound BNSF Z train rolls into Barstow.
TRAIN 8: Eastbound UP Z train approaches Barstow.
TRAIN 9: A "repo" train rolls along the "Cajon Connector", coming off the Mojave Sub for the Cajon Sub.
TRAIN 10: A vehicle train blasts west.
TRAIN 11: Over on the Mojave Sub, an eastbound Q train approaches Barstow.
TRAIN 12: Last but not least, a westbound grain train running 4x3x2 is all powered-up for its run over Tehachapi as it departs Barstow.
