In July of 2012, 16 year-old Skylar Neese disappeared after leaving her West Virginia apartment and getting into an unknown vehicle. An exhaustive search commenced over the next several months as police along with Skylar's friends and family hoped for her safe return. In January of the following year though, that hope was shattered as one of Skylar's best friends came forward with a story that would shock the nation.
