Hands-On Power, Electrical & Electronics Eng | PLC, MCU, Motors/Gen, I&C, Sensors Calibration & more

From 1MW to 150MW Power Plants: My Hands-On Journey in Power, Electrical & Electronics Engineering
In this throwback video, I share my early career experiences working on real power and industrial projects in Bangladesh from 2008 to 2012.

From small 1 MW generator-based power plants to large 150 MW facilities, I was deeply involved in the full project lifecycle — design, EPC, schematic diagrams, MCU programming, PLC programming, erection, calibration, commissioning, and operation & maintenance.

Key hands-on work included:
• Schematic design and control panel wiring
• Microcontrollers (MCU) and PLC-based automation
• PID controllers, Star-Delta logic, state machines, generator & engine controls
• Sensors, actuators, motors, generators, and Instrumentation & Control (I&C)
• Firmwares, battery management systems, oil & water cooling systems, and pump systems
• Gas regulation, metering systems, and instrument calibration
• Electro-mechanical works, earthing, foundations, and supporting civil scopes

These intense, real-world years built a strong foundation in power, electrical, and electronics engineering — teaching me reliability, troubleshooting under pressure, and how to bring complex systems to life. The projects I worked on ultimately served millions of customers.

I later moved to the United States for graduate studies and transitioned into advanced embedded systems, on-device AI, and automotive infotainment.
Grateful for every challenge, every late-night commissioning, and every lesson that shaped my journey.
