Please note: Sample libraries are a great tool! They open a world of possibilities and give us the opportunity to create music that otherwise we wouldn't be able to. They can sound very close to a real orchestra and sometimes they can even enhance it (aggressive hits, staccatos, etc). But there's nothing like live musicians. Especially when it comes to expressiveness, musicality, and emotion. Use sample libraries to show the great composer you are when you're starting out and the budgets are low. But it's our work and responsibility as composers to educate our clients and show them the importance of live music and how much live musicians will elevate their project. Always have live musicians in your projects and keep the live music alive 🙏
