Road Less Marveled: Philippines - Episode 1 - Qatar Airways Economy Review - Dulles - Doha - Manila

This is the first episode of our Philippines travel series.
This episode covers the 30-hour trek from our home to our first hotel in the Philippines.
Our first flight departed from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., United States on Qatar Airways flight 710 Economy class, scheduled to last 12 hours 40 minutes on an Airbus A350-900, seats 22A and 22B. We review 3 meals from that flight.
We then give a short tour of Doha International Airport in Qatar before boarding our second flight, Qatar Airways flight 928 Economy class, scheduled to last 8 hours 35 minutes on a Boeing 777-300ER, seats 18A and 18B.
After landing in Manila, Philippines at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, we proceeded through passport control and boarded a metered taxi. We fell victim to a common taxi scam, but it was still a reasonable price compared to western countries.
Before midnight, we arrived at our first hotel, the Rain Airport BNB at 65 RAIN RESIDENCES, 65 Ninoy Aquino Ave, Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.
