GIBSON GA-4RE REVERB ECHO • Tube / Oil Can Echo Unit

I bought this Reverb Echo almost two years ago and loved it! Wanted to keep it for my home studio only. Missing the Gibson emblem on the front (if it even had one? Many pictures on the net do not). I cannot speak to its originality because I did buy it second hand.

It’s a working unit and immediately gives you that “oil can vibe” but, the loudness control doesn’t seem to do anything at all. There doesn't seem to be a change in the effect, mix or volume when you actuate it. I’ve scoured the internet and found very little information or instances of a similar “complaint”.

The handle is on its last legs, the tubes are all in good condition and the knobs all appear to be original as well. However, I highly suggest having it gone through by a professional unless you are so inclined to do so yourself. Personally, I’m not the type.
