40 Mile Caribou Hunt 2020

2020 fall 40 mile caribou hunt in Alaska. I wanted to film the shot, but after a week without seeing anything just wanted some meat in the freezer. Next time I will be more patient. Spent the majority of the time up the Steese Highway. The key to success is getting away from the crowd. Go where others aren't, and walk away from your machines. A mile from the trail and into the tundra, we were seeing caribou all day. Awesome hunt. Can't wait for the next one. Enjoy the views!
