Ace Pot Hit at Monday Doubles & Rounds on the River Prep | Hitting Chains Disc Golf Vlog 🥏🔥

This week in East Tennessee disc golf we were busy! An ace pot hit at Mossy Creek, doubles rounds, Rounds on the Rive prep, and playing with a future MPO star.

🥏 Monday – Ace Pot Hit at Mossy Creek Doubles
We hosted Hitting Chains Monday Doubles at David W. Barger Disc Golf Course (Mossy Creek) in Jefferson City, TN. Derian hit an ace and took home the $134 ace pot, making it the second ace pot hit this season after Fisher cashed it the first doubles of the year at Kiwanis.. Another great turnout and a fun night with the local community.

🚶 Tuesday – Getting Back on Track
Jake started adding extra walking into his routine and talked about working toward improving his fitness after gaining some weight over the last year. Small steps back in the right direction.

🟡 Wednesday – VDGC Doubles at Cherokee Park
We played the Vets Disc Golf Club of Morristown Wednesday Doubles at Cherokee Park DGC. Another competitive and fun round with a great card.

🌧️ Thursday – Much Needed Rain
We finally got some rain after weeks without any. It wasn’t much, but definitely needed.

🌊 Friday – Roane County Park Practice Round
We met up with Gibbs, Blue, Chad, and Blake at Roane County Park DGC to get in some practice for the upcoming Rounds on the River hosted by Russell Disc Golf. After battling Knoxville traffic, it turned into a great night of disc golf and hanging out. We wrapped it up with food at Carolina Ale House.

🥏 Saturday – Cherokee Park Round with a Rising Junior
We met up with Preston Hunt and his dad at Cherokee Park DGC as he prepares for the Tennessee State Disc Golf Championship. Preston is one of many talented junior players in East Tennessee, and it’s exciting to see the next generation of disc golfers continuing to grow the sport. After the round, we grabbed food at La Quesadilla, which did not disappoint.

From ace runs and doubles to preparing for upcoming events and highlighting young talent, this week was another great example of the strength of the East Tennessee disc golf community.
