Sawmill Log stops

As always when opperating a sawmill the goal is to produce quality lumber, and get the job done as fast and effeciently as possible. I'm always looking to improve on ways and techniques in this process. I for some time have studdied as to weather i wanted to pull another Hydraulic circuit from the power beyound port on the spool valve that opperates the claw turner to raise and lower the stops, via a Hydraulic motor, or a cylinder hooked to the chains,, then I thought why cant I just rout the #40 chain and build a frame, install bearings and a crank handle,, I had bearings, some #40 chain,, so for a cost of about $40,, I had the 2 stops working,, I now have the 3rd stop working for another $30
