AMIGA B2000 Case 59 - Assembling Back Panels & Drive Caddy Assembly - Live
59th in the series, I have an Amiga 2000 complete, and I also have a spare 2000 mainboard, which I want to build into a case, that I can easily work on, as I plan to add various upgrades to this spare board, then apply the same to my complete 2000 computer.
About the case, the case will be designed to take advantage of the skill I have learned over the years, I have a design to finished product path, that I follow, tried and tested methods, that I know will work.
The idea is to create all the parts from 6mm Polycarbonate / Acrylic sheet and maybe some aluminum too. To be assembled by the user. I need one myself and I want it to look and feel as close to the original Amiga 2000 case as possible, it will be clear / transparent, but you have the option to wrap it in vinyls.
Anyway I shared a teaser image on fb Amiga user groups and had an unexpected response, so I am willing to put in the work required to see it through to a finished case, I intend to share the G-Code, so those like minded or thoughs who can get the parts made by third part online services, like PCBWay or others, can do so, anyway I need one, so I will see where this goes.
