PRO REVERB MIXING TIPS [2021] 4 Vital Reverb MIXING Techniques

Mix reverb like the pros. Reverb is such a vitally important part of mixing and music production. But for many music producers, the process ends with putting a reverb plugin on an aux channel, and maybe modifying the reverb itself. But professional mix engineers go a step or 2 further by processing the reverb with compression, sidechain gating and more. This way we can sculpt the reverb so it does what we want, without getting into places we don't want.
There's also a quick tip on computing the correct release times for a compressor or gate, and we have a few reverb tricks as well.
