Here's me installing oil catch can to reduce engine deposits, keep pistons clean, as well as intake valves, on this GDI engine found in 2013 - 2017 Honda Accords. GDI engine problems like clogged intake valves are partly caused by the absence of fuel washing over the back of the inake valves as well as oil vapors coming from the PCV system. Installing an oil catch can is one of the ways of keeping the combustion chamber clean on these engines. They help prevent carbon build up in engines.
