DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round – KOKORO & MOMIJI VS AYANE & KASUMI #01

The other watched a Momiji guide (@ForceofNature99 has a lot character guides for Dead or Alive 5 and Dead or Alive 6) from which it appeared that she is a "mid-range character". After the guide, I took her into training to see if I could apply the principles in a free training on my usual playing level. I picked Ayane as opponent, which was probably not the best choice as she likes to keep her distance – until she doesn't anymore, and your character gets a torpedo kick in the abdomen.
Hence, training focus changed to controlling fast characters on different types stages (large and medium/small). This video is sort of an exam for the large stage – Arrival.

I called in Kokoro to help out so it would a tag fight. It went ok, and unsurprisingly the best strategy to contain a fast character that wants to have space is to stay close at all times. That works in fighting games! In other real-life contexts you may need alternative strategies ;).
