The systemd Journal - OpenTechSummit 2016
Lennart Poettering (Red Hat)
systemd is a core component of most of today's popular Linux distributions. It takes the role of the system and service manager. Collecting log output of services and the rest of the system is a key functionality of systemd, implemented in the "system Journal" logging system. In this talk I'll give a quick introduction to the journal, and present its advantages over traditional syslog.
