Korea Day 1 - Visa Free Travel for Filipinos to Gangwon (Yangyang) | Almost Diplomatic

Traveling to Korea without a visa is now possible for Filipinos if you fly directly to Yangyang Airport – just a two-hour drive from Seoul. There’s actually so much to see in Gangwon province and I highly recommend that you go! From culture, opportunities to enjoy nature, wellness activities, great cuisine, and even spots for Hallyu fans.

TO TRAVEL WITHOUT A VISA: You'll have to book a tour with a travel agency and you'll have the option to fully enjoy Gangwon province or split your visit by allowing some days for Seoul as well. You'll only need your passport and Q-code registration which can be done online.

COVID REQUIREMENTS? I presented a negative antigen test at immigration which was done within 24 hours before my flight. On our first day in Korea, we were also tested for Covid (wasn't able to take footage of this but it was quick and rather convenient).

AIRLINE? Fly Gangwon is a Korean airline that has red-eye flights from Clark International Airport to Yangyang International Airport.
