Rachel Nolan is a recently dumped, 20-something writer living in NY. She moves in with her best friend Nicole who vows to get her over the heartbreak by any means possible, but when the two best friends share an intimate night, their friendship is forever changed.

Amidst the over-saturated beauty and grime of New York, a young woman, Rachel, watches as her seemingly perfect and planned out life, vanishes all at once when her boyfriend suddenly dumps her. Her free spirited roommate, Nicole, takes it upon herself to heal her heartbroken friend the only way she knows how; by going out, getting drunk, and getting guys. Rachel finds herself questioning whether relationships and s*x are really as mutually exclusive as she'd like them to be as her and Nicole's friendship evolves and deteriorates through a shared s*xual experience. Her Side of the Bed is a realistic coming of age story that follows one woman's journey through self discovery and begs the question, "When you strip away the external influences, who are you really, at the core?"

It’s a coming of age film that isn’t hackneyed and cliche. It’s Girls meets Blue is the Warmest Color. It explores a fluid s*xual paradigm. And it begs the question: are friendship and s*x as mutually exclusive as we’d like them to be?

Director Biography - Bryn Woznicki:

For as long as she can remember, Bryn Woznicki has alternately carried a camera or a pen in her hand. Her first feature film, "Her Side of the Bed", has been accepted into three festivals and recently picked up for distribution.

"Just Desserts" (2012), a neo-noir short written, directed, and produced by Bryn, was screened in the 2012 Cannes Film Festivalʼs Short Film Corner. She has produced and directed dozens of projects, taking home awards form the LA Webfest (2013), the Accolade Competition (2011) and the Santa Monica College Film Festival (2010). Most recently, Bryn directed and produced the award winning webseries "Love On-The-Line," and also has a comedy pilot, "Free Lunch," in post-production.
