Dear friends and colleagues!

This is my way of saying goodbye and thank you to an airline which has shape and impacted many lives of my fellow colleagues and passengers.
Airberlin has been operating for over 38 years. The company was well known for it´s flights to Palma de Mallorca and other famous holiday destinations whilst the passengers enjoyed the service on board by our flight attendants.
I´ve been flying for Airberlin nearly 8 years, and I´ve had the time of my life. Airberlin was my ticket to the airline industry, being a Skydiving and Executive pilot. I was welcomed with open arms, got a fantastic type rating on the Airbus A320 family and was supervised by pilots who had 20 years of experience. What more could you ask for!

I loved going to work, with captains who I owe a lot of gratitude and cabin crews I highly respected.
The kindness within the crew was one of kind and I think back to hilarious layovers at various destinations.

But this chapter of my life and of many other colleagues has sadly come to end.
I´m looking for to exciting future, in the cockpit seat of another airline and I will always look back with a smile as I think about the time I´ve had with Airberlin.
