Wayne Shorter Quartet live a the North Sea Jazz Festival • 13-07-1986 • World of Jazz

Wayne Shorter (born August 25, 1933) is an American jazz saxophonist and composer. He became known as member and composer of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and later went on to join Miles Davis in his Second Great Quintet in the 1960’s.
Later he founded Weather Report. He won 10 Grammy awards and recorded more than 20 albums.

His Quartet consists of:

Garry Willis, bass
Tom Brechtlein, drums
Mitchel Forman, keyboards

Recorded on 13 July 1986 in The Congresgebouw, The Hague, The Netherlands during the North Sea Jazz Festival.
One day later they played at the Montreux Festival, Switzerland.
