Collecting Alligator Eggs For The State Of Florida. Today I'm going out with my buddy Dalton to collect alligator eggs on his private land. We have to dig the eggs out of the alligator nest and it can be very risky because these alligators are not happy with us for messing with their eggs but it's very important to collect alligator eggs to help the Florida ecosystem. Alligators numbers have blown up over the years and this is one way to help keep the population under control. It also helps with research of the animals and alligator farms.
