The village of Lungern lies in the highest part of the canton of Obwalden, on the eastern shore of the Lake of Lungern and at the foot of the Brünig Pass. It is a great excursion destination and has something to offer to everyone. Lungern is perfect for hiking the lake or the mountains, for MTB biking, fishing, swimming, and much more.
