In this video we will be learning about DIAC.
The name DIAC comes from the words DIode AC switch. A DIAC is a full-wave or bi-directional semiconductor switch that can be turned on in both forward and reverse polarities.
The most common application of a Diac is to trigger a Triac. The video shows how to represent a Diac in a circuit and how a Diac is constructed. With the help of V-I Characteristics, the Working of a Diac is explained. The Application of Diac is also explained in detail in the further parts of the video.
