Minitruck Build - Front end swap - 90s Toyota with 03-04 4runner front.

This is a revamp of an older video which was previously only released to facebook, it was shot with an old Canon 50D so please excuse the quality.

A spare Hilux which I like to call 'jiglux' was used to mock up the panels before it was transferred onto the good truck.
The video shows the process of grafting the two front ends together in this 91 Toyota Hilux. This was a huge learning curve in working with sheet metal and I have since Improved.

The Gen 3 4runner is quite rare in Australia. I was able to source the fenders from England which were cut up to fit into a suitcase to be brought home. The 4runner bumper was brought back in a plane as oversized luggage from America. The Radiator support was found in Adelaide and so was the bonnet. The door skins are from a 97-04 Hilux.

The truck has since been stretched, body dropped, matching tacoma tub skins, etc. See other videos for updates.
