Caruso: Che Gelida Manina 1906. From an original 78 rpm shellac with rare, historical pictures

The images of this video were scanned from the book "Erinnerungen an Caruso" (Memories of Caruso) written by Caruso's European agent Emil Ledger and published in 1922 one year after Caruso's death.

The aria Che gelida manina ("What a frozen little hand") from the Puccini opera La Bohème was recorded only once by Caruso on Sunday, 11th of February 1906.
