Victron 250/100 Solar Charge Controller MPPT, Off-Grid System

I'm using a Victron 250/100 Solar charge controller to charge my Chevy Volt batteries. I built a DIY Powerwall using lithium batteries in previous videos. Now, I'm showcase the charger I chose for the system. This is made by Victron and has a great MPPT system to optimize the energy harvested from my solar panels.

This is all part of my larger plan to take my home off-grid using solar panels and batteries and inverters. The charge controller is able to take the higher voltage from the solar panels (in my case up to 250 volts DC) and drops it down to a lower voltage to charge the batteries (in my case 48-49 volts). This increases the amps. This technique is called MPPT, or Maximum Power Point Tracking.
